Roots of Europe to take Iranian short ‘Inhale’

The 4th edition of the Roots of Europe International Film Festival (REIFF) in Spain has been scheduled to screen Iranian short flick ‘Inhale’.

Directed by Nasser Zamiri, the short film is about a couple who is facing a serious challenge.

“Ebrahim's recurring insomnia has caused tension between him and his wife, Marziyeh,” a tagline of the flick reads.

The cast list of the film includes Mehrdad Bakhshi, Neda Asadi, and Ali Yazarlou.

‘Inhale’ was presented at several global events, including the Huesca International Film Festival in Spain, the DC Independent Film Festival in the US, the Busan International Short Film Festival in South Korea, the MedFilm Festival in Italy, and the Media Film Festival in the US.

According to the official website of the REIFF, the festival promotes, through cinema, the integration of Europe from the knowledge of its rich cultural creation and great values.

It also facilitates the approach of Europe to the world and the world to Europe, through the knowledge of the great cultural creation and values that have grown in Europe.

The 2021 edition of the REIFF is slated for May 4-7 in Spain.
